- Open Operations Console
- Go to ‘Authoring’
- .NET Application Performance Monitoring > Add Monitoring Wizard
- Select .Net Application Performance Monitoring and click on Next
- Provide a Name and select appropriate Management Pack and click on Next
- Click on ‘Add’ and click on Search. Select the app that needs to get monitored
- Select the app from the list and click on Add and click on Ok
- Select the Environment and click on Next
- Uncheck the ‘Event Monitoring’ as shown below

- Click on ‘Advanced Settings’ and change the values as shown below
- Click on ‘Set Namespaces …’ and make changes as below
- Check if any server needs IISReset or Application Pool recycle. Inform application team if IISReset or Application Pool Recycle needs to be done.
- Check for any Active Alerts
- Check for any Active Alerts
Creating Groups
- Authoring -> Groups -> Create New Group
- Give a Group name to the newly created Group
- Search for the server name that needs to be added in the Group
- Click on Add for the servers to get added to the Group
- Incase any servers were missed for adding. Then right click on the Group and click on Properties.
- Go to Explicit Members - > Add/Remove Objects
